Restaurants

Being the small place that Barnehurst is there are only a couple of restaurants where you can sit in and dine.

In Midfield Parade you have the Jhas Tandoori and near Barnehurst station you have the Omar Khayyam. Barnehurst also has many take away options including fish and chips, kebab, Chinese, Indian and a couple of sandwich bars/cafes. See our business directory for more listings and to add your restaurant.

Bexleyheath has many more restaurants ranging from pie and mash, Italian and American to noodle bars, pizza and a Greek Cypriot restaurant. Bexley Village also has restaurants including the Greek Taverna.

Latest choice: Zerodegrees, Blackheath
Jump on a train and 15 minutes later you will arrive in the heart of Blackheath Village. Find Micro-brewery Zerodegrees for excellent food including pizzas, mussells, salads and of course their home brews. The beer offered is pilsner, wheat beer, brown ales, stouts and a weekly special. Plus there are wines and spirits and even a happy hour session in the afternoons. Excellent value for money and the pizzas are the best I've found outside of Italy!
