Photos: Bursted Woods

Bursted Wood pathway from Erith Road. The hills here were once bunkers of the old pitch putt course. This is a good place for dog walking. The woods lie to the left of the park. Woodland walks are good for dogs and children. Wild plants and large trees dominate the woods. Holly plants are just one species of plants in the woods. In the summer the woods are well shaded from the elements. During the autumn various funghi can be found at floor level.
